Cookie policy

How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you stay in control.

Envaira respects the privacy of everyone who visits our website. This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on www.envaira.com in line with Irish and EU law (the ePrivacy Regulations 2011, S.I. No. 336 of 2011, and the GDPR). It covers this website only, not the Envaira application you sign in to. We may update it if technology or the law changes.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website recognise your browser on later visits and remember things like your preferences. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way, so we treat them the same way here. For more about cookies and how to manage or delete them, visit aboutcookies.org.

What we use and why

We only store information on your device without asking when it is strictly necessary. Everything else needs your consent first, which you give or decline using the cookie banner.

Strictly necessary

These remember the choice you make on our cookie banner. We store it in your browser’s local storage (as envaira-landing-cookie-consent) until you clear your browser data. They do not need your consent.

Performance (Google Analytics)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to collect statistics about how visitors use the website and which pages they view, so we can improve it. These cookies do not directly identify you, but they do use identifiers that are personal data under the GDPR. They are two cookies, _ga and _ga_JQC9PQPZQK, which last 2 years, and they are only set after you choose “Accept all”. Until then, analytics storage is switched off using Google Consent Mode, although our website still loads Google’s script, which may send limited cookie-free information such as your IP address and the page visited to Google. Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area; see Google’s privacy policy.

We also use Vercel Speed Insights, from our hosting provider, to measure page load speed. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and it runs for all visitors.

Advertising and targeting

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies.

Other third parties

We do not embed third-party content such as videos or social media feeds. If we do in future, those providers may set their own cookies and we will ask for your consent first. We do not control other websites we link to, so please check their own policies.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can use the whole website without accepting optional cookies. To change your mind at any time, use (also in the footer of every page) and choose again. If you withdraw consent, analytics is switched off and we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you do, the cookie banner will appear again.

Your rights and contact

You have rights over your personal data under the GDPR, including access, correction, erasure and objection. To exercise them or ask about this policy, email info@envaira.com. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
